This is a 2-way, normally closed, poppet type, pull to open directional control valve. In the normal position, flow is blocked from 2 to 1, while free reverse flow takes place from port 1 to 2 after overcoming the spring bias. When the knob is manually pulled upward, port 1 is connected to port 2 allowing free flow in both directions. This valve is ideal for emergency lowering applications.
