This is a pilot operated, spool type sequence valve that opens from port 1 to port 2 when the setting is reached. It then automatically vents the main spool, causing the inlet pressure in port 1 to fall to the pressure in port 2. Sometimes known as a'kick-down'valve, it can be used to sequence operations in a system limiting pressure loss, where the pressure in the second operation is much lower than the first.

This is a normally open, direct acting pressure reducing valve. Port 2 
is open to port 1 until the setting is reached. at which time the valve throttles the outlet flow limiting the pressure at port 1. If the outlet pressure rises due to an external force, then the valve will open port 1 to port 3 acting as a relief valve. This valve is ideal for use in brake circuits where low leakage is important.

This is a normally open, direct acting pressure reducing valve. Port 2

This is a 2-way, normally closed, poppet type, pull to open directional control valve. In the normal position, flow is blocked from 2 to 1, while free reverse flow takes place from port 1 to 2 after overcoming the spring bias. When the knob is manually pulled upward, port 1 is connected to port 2 allowing free flow in both directions. This valve is ideal for emergency lowering applications.

This needle valve with fine metering is a variable orifice used to create a pressure drop when flow passes from port 1 to 2 or port 2 to 1. Clockwise rotation of the adjustment screw decreases the flow setting until it is completely closed.

This is a 3-ported, normally closed, pilot to close spool type logic element. By opening port 3 to tank, flow can pass from port 1 to port 2. Flow is blocked from port 1 to port 2 unless the pressure is high enough in port 1 to overcome the spring set pressure. Applying pressure to port 3 will increase the pressure required in port 1 to open the valve by a factor of 1 to 1. This valve is ideal for use as a pressure compensator, bypass valve, or a pilot to close valve in regenerative circuits.
