This is a hydraulically pilot operated spool valve, normally open from port 2 to 3 with port 4 as a drain port connected to tank. When the pilot pressure on port 1 reaches the setting, the valve will begin to close port 2 to 3. This is ideal for sensing pressure in a remote area of a circuit to sequence another operation.

OPERATION AND DESCRIPTIONThis is a 3-way, 2-position, direct-acting solenoid valve with a spool-type design.In the de-energized state, port 1 is open to port 2, while port 3 is blocked.When energized, port 3 is open to port 1, and port 2 is blocked.
These valves can be configured for normally open, normally closed, or selector functions.They feature an open transition during shifting, which helps reduce pressure spikes when changing flow direction.
